Pediatric Primary Care

All Providers

As co-founder and partner of Shine Pediatrics, Natalie is excited to bring her expertise and passion for children's health and wellness to Seattle's Eastside. This practice is a dream come true for both owners, and we are confident that our unique model of care will spark interest and add value to the community in which we serve.

Natalie is a newer resident to Washington State, coming all of the way from Alabama (ROLL TIDE!). She received her nurse practitioner education in Nashville, TN at Vanderbilt University in 2018. She also holds a Master's Degree in Nursing Leadership from the University of North Alabama. She spent a lot of time in-and-out of hospitals as a child, and this inspired her early on to enter the pediatric healthcare field. She became a registered nurse in 2005 at only 18 years old. She has a well-rounded healthcare background from bedside nursing experience in hospital settings that include emergency medicine, pulmonary acute care, pediatric intensive care, diagnostic radiology, and neonatal intensive care.

Natalie comes to Shine Pediatrics from a large practice in Alabama that cared for an underserved patient population. During her time at this clinic, Natalie had a role as vaccine coordinatior in addition to her nurse practitioner duties. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, she helped to provide free testing and vaccines to Alabama residents. One of the things she is most proud of during her work there is increasing vaccine accessibility to her community by hosting both school vaccine clinics and large-scale COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

When Natalie is not at work caring for her patients, she is spending time at home with her husband and two young children. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors at local parks and exploring kid-friendly hiking trails in the area. Natalie also enjoys cooking, traveling, playing piano, reading, and gardening. Natalie is passionate about animal rescue and currently has two rescue cats named "Miso Fluffy" and "Princess Peach," as well as a three-legged rescue dog named "Rex." Before having children, she traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand and spent time with rescued elephants at the Elephant Nature Park, with plans to one day go back to volunteer longer term.
